Specifically

Founded in 1981, the association of Louvain Coopération au Développement supports more than 30 projects initiated by destitute populations. Bringing together experts in health, agriculture and economy, our association is cooperating in projects of primary health care, food security, microfinance and Health Mutual Association.

By enhancing individual and collective skills, we contribute to solidarity which forms the basis for sustainable projects.

For our projects, we can count on the skills, expertise and commitment of many members of the Catholic University of Louvain. Thus, we contribute to the mission of the university for the benefit of people on low incomes.

Building on its experience in the South, Louvain Coopération au Développement also organises sensitisation activities for students of CULouvain Développement and development actors, for the benefit of fair exchanges between North and South.
