DVD : Healthcare Techniques

This DVD presents the hygiene practices and techniques of care most often used in hospital and at home. Improving the quality of health care is also a mission of Louvain Coopération au Développement. We support the distribution of this DVD which we also use during information sessions in our activity zones. The incomes generated by this DVD are directly assigned to our projects.

Intented for students in medicine, student-nurses and as a refresher course fore more experienced care givers, this DVD has been prepared by four nurse-teachers with a large clinical experience : Nicole Bureau, Danielle Detourbe, Bénédicte de Ville de Goyet and Francelette Radelet under medical supervision of profs Philippe Baele (anaesthesiology) and Paul Van Cangh (urology).

Depending on the workplace and the available supplies, it is possible to adapt these techniques according to the protocols of each institution while respecting the standards set forth in the chapter on general principles.
